G2 and G test preparation

What is the difference between a G2 and G road test?

A G2 road test checks core city-driving skills such as turns, intersections, lane changes, observation, parking and safe traffic interaction. A G road test also evaluates freeway driving: merging, exits, lane changes, speed management and higher-speed decision-making.

How many lessons do I need before my G2 or G test?

There is no universal number. It depends on your current experience, how consistently you practice and the skills you still need to improve. A lesson with My Driving School can identify the areas that deserve focused practice before your test.

Can nervous drivers take lessons?

Yes. My Driving School offers private, calm instruction for nervous learners and returning drivers. The lesson pace is adjusted to your comfort level while still building practical road awareness.

Do you teach highway driving?

Yes. Highway lessons focus on entering and exiting safely, matching traffic speed, checking blind spots, spacing, lane choices and calm decision-making. Highway preparation is especially relevant for the Ontario G road test.

Can I use a driving-school car for my road test?

My Driving School offers road-test packages that include one lesson. Vehicle and timing availability must be confirmed with Sanjay when you book, especially for tests outside Brampton.
